Let’s Meditate
Individualized meditation sessions are designed for those who would like a one-on-one meeting with a teacher or for those who want to help setting up a solid meditation practice. With everything going on in the world at the moment, it can be a life-changer to create a place of inner refuge, security, calm, and balance within your own self. Whether you suffer from anxiety, a sense of alienation or depression, are seeking to heal from physical illness, long to overcome fear, find peace in a relationship, or discover your life’s purpose, I am here to support you in each step of your journey. Through dialogue I find out who you are and what you long for, and together we devise a customized practice for you.
If you like, I will follow your practice through periodic meetings. My expertise as teacher is grounded in both Theravadin and Tibetan philosophy and practice, yet I am open to an integrative spiritual approach, which honors your own philosophy or tradition. Usually, I recommend 10 meetings to solidity and ground a meditation practice, but we would determine this individually together. Each of our meetings is 60 minutes long and is available via Skype, Zoom or in-person in my Santa Barbara office.
Individual work is designed to:
Develop a caring, genuine teaching relationship, which provides the container for your work with yourself.
Decide on a meditation practice that fits with your needs and longing at this time in your life.
Setting up a meditation practice, which is tailored to the time you have available and to the circumstances you live in.

Learning to cultivate genuine self-love and compassion, which is helpful for your meditation practice as well as for living your life in a satisfying way.
Addressing health problems, lifestyle choices and mind states, that might interfere with your practice.
Learning to skillfully balance work, relationships, family and spiritual life.
Release the stresses of mind, body, and spirit to become a happier person.
